SRINAGAR, Feb 4: The axe is all set to fall on the officers and officials of the different government departments who facilitated the encroachment of water bodies and state land in the Srinagar district following which constructions were raised on water bodies and state land.
Sources told Early Times that district administration of Srinagar has taken a strong note of the rampant encroachment of Khushhalsar Lake carried out by the people over the past three decades or so. Jammu, Feb 4: As different departments are facing liabilities due to irrational allocation of works during PDP-BJP regime, administration of the UT of J&K today issued a circular in which executing agencies are given clear instruction to adhere to the rules while according administrative approval for developmental works.
The executing agencies have been given directions that administrative approval will be given only to developmental work only after proper cost and budget estimate.
