Early Times Report Jammu, May 6: Just one month ago, top leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party claimed that they have withdrawn the security of 919 "undeserving persons" in Jammu and Kashmir. Out of 919 "undeserving persons" only 22 were separatists, while others were workers of the mainstream political parties. Now the BJP is beating its chest over the killing of Ghulam Mohammad Mir, party's vice-president for Anantnag district. Mir was killed by the militants inside his house two days ago. Son of the slain leader has said that soon after Mir's security was withdrawn, his father approached SSP Anantnag and asked him to provide him with the security cover as he stays in militancy infested area. The SSP Anantnag, according to Mir's son, said that Police cannot provide him the security cover till he gets the letter from BJP's general secretary organisation, Ashok Kaul. But the Kaul just ignored the requests of the deceased leader and made him the "soft target."
