Early Times Report Srinagar, May 2: A senior official at the Srinagar Municipal Corporation has been accused of having given his official vehicle to his wife for personal use. Sources said the SMC official had two sedans at his disposal but that he has given one to his wife for her "personal use and shopping etc." Source said the official is using Innova for his official use whereas the white Balero is being used by his wife. Sources said the Balero gets fuel from the SMC stocks and that all maintenance of the vehicle was also being paid by the civic body itself. Sources said some of the officials in the transport wing of SMC, to keep their superior in good humor, have been providing official resources including the fuel for the travel of wife. Sources said the same SMC vehicle was also used to ferry domestic goods of the official's family from Jammu.
