Early Times Report Jammu, July 30: Principal of Government Medical College Jammu has ostensibly adjusted his blue eyed officials on prime posts in violation of the transfer policy. According to the details available with Early Times the GMC Principal has prematurely transferred many low rung officials and has not shown any regard towards their seniority. The premature transfer of officials, according to the documents in possession of this newspaper, has violated the transfer/posting policy of the government employees with reference to the order of General Administration Department dated 28.07.2010. “It clearly indicates that the Principal has resorted to favoritism,” said a source. Early Times Report Jammu, July 30: In a major development, Jammu and Kashmir government has finally given nod to the construction of separate Pandit colonies in Kashmir with first such accommodation coming up in South Kashmir’s Shopian area. According to the sources government has accorded sanction to the transfer of land measuring 40 kanals (five acres), consisting of State land in favour of Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction for construction of transit accommodation for Kashmiri Migrant employees under PM Package. Early Times Report Jammu, July 30: In the wake of continued spike in Covid-19 cases in Jammu and Kashmir, the administration in a proactive move has established a plasma bank in the summer capital of Srinagar whereas Jammu is still working on the plan. Official sources said the Government Medical College Srinagar established a plasma bank at Kashmir Nursing Home at Gupkar in Srinagar, where a first such special plasma donation camp was held. Early Times Report JAMMU, July 30: The State Executive Committee (SEC), has issued revised Quarantine Procedures and protocols to be followed for all incoming passengers by Air, Rail and Road into the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The SOPs regarding COVID testing have been revised by the SEC in exercise of powers conferred upon it under Section 24 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 in supersession of all previous orders, instructions and protocols on the subject keeping in view the minimal positivity rate among Rail and Air travellers.
