Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 12: Gruesome killing of a newly recruited unarmed young Sub-Inspector of Jammu Kashmir Police is a new but dangerous a trend of terrorism in the Union Territory. Instead of throwing grenades or planting IEDs, terrorists are now indulged in selective and targeted killings of police officers and politicians to create fear among mainstream politicians and cops. Continuing selective killings of the unarmed cops, terrorists on Sunday killed a sub-inspector of Jammu and Kashmir Police after firing at him from a point-blank range. The deceased sub-inspector Arshid Ahmad was a native of the Kalmona area of north Kashmir's Kupwara district. He was serving as probationary sub-inspector at Khanyar Police Station. CCTV footage of the terror attack has gone viral on social media. In the footage, a terrorist was seen chasing the unarmed officer. Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 12: An encounter between Security Forces and suspected terrorists took place in Thannamandi area of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir. Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Sept 12: The Government on Sunday informed that 105 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 16 from Jammu division and 89 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 326904. Also, two COVID deaths have been reported; one from Jammu Division and one from Kashmir Division. Moreover, 119 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 19 from Jammu Division and 100 from Kashmir Division.
