3/25/2016 11:45:10 PM

Early times Report
JAMMU, Mar 25: A DIG, who is annoyed with PHQ for not posting him in Jammu region despite repeated assurances, is said to be all set to seek Central deputation.
"He is in touch with a Central Minister so that he manages a good posting for him at the Centre," police sources said.
Sources said though PHQ had given him an assurance to post him in Jammu region, he was posted somewhere else. As SSP also, he was not posted in Jammu region despite an assurance from PHQ in this regard, sources claimed.
The officer, who belongs to Jammu, was at present posted at an insignificant place. His promotion as IGP was also due. "He wants to move to the Centre to develop links with higher ups in the Ministry of Home Affairs," sources said and added that he would later use these links to get a good posting in Jammu region.
He has served in almost all the far-flung areas of the State and belongs to Jammu. He has a good track record. He could not get a good posting in Jammu region PHQ had always preferred the 'powerful' politically-connected officers to him.
