AJKPCS hails PM for releasing 10 % DA | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 3: President of All Jammu and Kashmir Pensioners and Civil Society (AJKPCS), Ajit Singh Adyal today appreciated the efforts of the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in releasing 10 percent DA from January 2014 and constitution of 7th pay commission, clearing the way for manager of 50 percent DA in Basic Pay/ Pension in favour of central government employees and pensioners. Ajit Singh pressed upon the prime minister to declare the 7th pay commission as national pay commission, so that the recommendation of the commission may be implemented in all the states simultaneously. He expressed his concern over the pending demands of the state pensioners and family pensioners, he urged upon the chief minister Omar Abdullah to resolve certain demands of the pensioners, which included release of 10 percent DA w.e.fJanuary 2014, release of Balance arrears of 6th pay commission of 4th and 5th installment in one go including the pending 6 percent DA due from January 2009 to June 2009. He also demanded enhancement of medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 2000 PM, Medical reimbursement claim for pensioners, Quantum of addition pension at par of central pensioner, waving off interest on commuted amount and need based modification in the SRO 57-f of 2013. |
