Jammu, Apr 3: Expressing concern over promotion of several class-IV employees, who even failed in typing test but were promoted as Junior Assistants, National Secular Forum (NSF) today alleged involvement of minister concerned and sought a special probe into the matter to ascertain the real culprits. Flaunting some documents in air during press conference, NSF president Sukhdev Singh said that the result of typing test of class IV employees of various Associated Hospitals of Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu was declared on 24/10/2013. According to order number AHJ/2013/2757 issued on November 21, 2013, out of total 30 class-IV employees appeared in the typing test, only six had qualified the test, he said, adding, "it was also recommended that the next type test be conducted on January, 15th 2014 but another order was issued by Associated Hospitals of Government Medical College Jammu, according to which the failed candidates namely Neena Padha, Gulam Ahmed, Ashwami Samyal, Rajeev Kumar, Jung Bahadur, Narender Kour, Masoom Begum, Rahul Dubey, Sunil Kumar, Seema Jamwal, James Khokhar, who earlier failed in first typing test were placed as Junior Assistants, according to order number AHJ/2013/ 3065-73, signed by Administrator of Associated Hospitals." Singh said that sudden passing of failed class-IV employees pointed towards a nexus between hospital administration and the employees. "Some officials claimed that some higher rung officials of GMC, who are trusted lieutenants of Medical Education Minister Taj-Mohi-ud-din, are collecting money by different means including illegal promotions and appointments", Singh said.He further appealed Governor NN Vohra, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to personally intervene in the matter and expose the nexus, so that the real culprits would be behind bars. |
