Kishtwar, Apr 3: Security forces during search operation busted a militant hideout and recovered arms haul including 8 Kgs of RDX, Pika rounds, grenades etc along with other ammunition in Bhaderwah of Doda district in Jammu region, sources here today said.
"Acting on a specific information, a joint search operation was launched by Special Operation Group (SoG), 4 Rashtriya Rifle (RR) and 149 Territorial Army (TA) & busted a hideout at Batni Nalla ( Puneja forest area) under the jurisdiction of Police Station Bhadarwah, sources said. "The recoveries include 01- AK 47 rifle, 01- 303 rifle, 01-12 bore rifle, 02 Chinese pistol, 01-country made pistol, 02- AK magazines, 07- UBGL rounds, 08 Kgs of RDX, 45 Pika rounds, 01- snapper, 02- electric detonator, 15 rounds of 303, 06 radio wireless sets, 07 Chinese grenades, steel plates, glasses, blankets, pouches, inflammatory literature and dairies and others day to day items, sources said. |
