During the protest demonstration, slogans were raised against the PHE, District administration, and State Government by the residents turned protestors. The protestors Kamar Din, Shabnam, Gulam Mohamad, Ansar Ali and others alleged that the entire population of this village belongs to Muslim Community due to which they are facing discriminatory approach of the local politicians, PHE Department and State Government who have denied the population to get water facility since 1947. They alleged few years back, water pipes were laid in the village but later Ex-MP Choudhary Lal Singh forced the PHE Department to shift the pipes in other areas. Most of the females and children have to collect water for drinking and other multiple domestic purposes from at least 2 Kilometer of distance where the water is also contaminated and unhealthy to drink for human beings. |
