SDP extends help in rescue operation 9/12/2014 12:08:57 AM Jammu, Sept 11: Socialistic Democratic Party (SDP) President Dr Darakhshan Andrabi has joined the Army Rescue team and is continuously evacuating the flood stuck people from Indra Nagar, Sonwar and Shivpora areas on a boat of the Indian Army. She was trapped in the floods and was evacuated by the Indian Army on Monday evening but instead of going to a safe place she volunteered herself for the rescue operation and since then she is busy evacuating the flood stuck people from Indra Nagar, Sonwar an Shivpora submersed localities. She said not only has the state administration failed but our so call political representatives have also exhibited their uselessness while sitting in safer places and watching people suffer. "Where are those who claim to be representing the people of Kashmir? Why have not Abdullah's and Mufti's converted their safe Gupkar residences into relief Camps?
