Reen distributes food packets to stranded drivers on NH 9/12/2014 1:11:17 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 11: People's Democratic Party (PDP) leader and candidate from Gandhi Naga constituency, Amrik Singh Reen today distributed food packets to the hundreds of truck and taxi drivers stranded at Jammu-Srinagar National Highway since last a week. Reen along with his team distributed food packets to hundreds of drivers, who were stranded from Sidhra to Nagrota area on NH1 and also assured them that he will also talk to administration to provide them eatables and water as they are stranded here without water and food. The stranded truck drivers have demanded rice as ration, so Reen has urged state government and civil administration to provide them rice as maximum stranded drivers are from Kashmir and they need rice.Reen said that on one side the civil administration claims that they have excess ration for the distribution with them, but not distributing to these drivers.
