Relief camp for flood victims organized in Pargwal | | | Jammu, Sept 16: A relief camp at Hamirpur Kona Tehsil Pargwal Sub-Division Khour was organized by the police team headed by SDPO Akhnoor Naresh Singh and listen to the grievance of general public and distributed relief material among the flood affected people of the area which is worst effected in flood and remained cut off for more than four days Meanwhile, a medical camp was organized at Govt. High School, Surya Chak (Phallan Mandal) by Jammu Police with an aim to provide medical assistance to the needy locals staying in the remote areas, especially those affected due to incessant heavy rains and floods in the area. A team of Doctors, from Police Hospital Jammu comprising Dr. Ajay Mishri, Dr Manju Shah Bajaj and other paramedical staff examined visitors to camp and provided treatment and specialized medical care to the needy while the villagers were also made aware about water borne and other communicable diseases and the precautions to be taken to prevent them. Around 352 patients from far flung and adjoining areas attended the camp and benefited from this free medical camp.
