Reen conducts door to door campaign | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 25: Intensifying his campaign to reach out each and every section of the society, PDP candidate for Gandhi Nagar Assembly segment, Amrik Singh Reen today conducted extensive door to door campaign in Sector 7 of Nanak Nagar area. Mr Reen was accompanied by senior leaders of the PDP. While interacting with people during his door to door campaign, Mr Reen sought support from every section of the society to throw out the present Omar Abdullah regime which has crossed all limits of corruption. While pointing towards the problems being faced by the residents of Jammu city especially those of Gandhi Nagar assembly segment, Mr Reen regretted expect installing stones and boards nothing concrete has been done to provide basic amenities to the people. Countering claims of those who are claiming to accelerate developmental activities in this segment, Mr Reen said that there was unequal development in this segment. He said that most of the deserving areas lack even basic amenities but to say of development. "Instead of solve problems of the common masses, ruling elites are more concerned about their petty politicking", he regretted. He observed that instead of taking some effectivesteps to restore normalcy in the State, the government seems to be more concerned about issuing press statement and conducting photo session. Mr Reen said that the only noticeable achievement of this government is legalization of corruption. During the last six years corruption has crossed all limits. What to say of taking steps to contain corruption, this government has even legalized corruption as corrupt elements have been appointed on important position with the support of Ministers and others. Harmeet Singh, Varinder Singh Sonu, Raghubir Singh Manga, Mehar Singh, Ch Talib, Bupinder Singh Rocky, Adv Adnan Malik, Parvinder Singh and others accompanied Amrik Singh Reen. |
