Focus only on selecting good candidates: Bhupinder | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 25: Accusing the leaders of being self-centric, social worker and retired SSP Bhupinder Singh took pot shots on those leaders who make "false promises and do corrupt practices". In a statement issued here today Singh said that an election promise is a promise or guarantee made to the public by a politician or other elected official who is trying to win an election. Election promises are usually made long before an election day and are instrumental in getting an official elected to office. He further said that beware from leaders who are having habit of making fool of people with tall, false promises. He also appealed to such leaders, not to make fun of the poor for whom they failed to do anything. Singh said leader must take one step at a time and focus on development, rather than on controversial issues. Singh urged the voters to make victorious good candidates so that people's hopes and aspirations could be fulfilled in the next six years. |
