| Kishtwar, Oct 25: Two persons were today killed while a retired police Sub-Inspector sustained critical injuries after a Maruti van in which they were travelling skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge at Chinta in Bhaderwah. A Maruti van (JK14/2999) met with an accident at Jai Gathi, resulting in the on spot death of two person and injuries to a retired police SI, police sources said.The dead included Krishan Lal, son of Duni Chand of Tansana Bhala and Naresh Kumar, son of Jarnail Singh of Dogga Chinta. The injured was identified as Kalyan Singh, a retired police SI, who was admitted to the district hospital, Doda. After post-mortem in the hospital, the bodies were handed over to their family members for last rites. Police have registered a case in this connection. |
