RS Pura deserves to become model constituency : Kundal

RS Pura, Nov 28 : Intensifying his election campaign in RS Pura segment, B R Kundal, Former Chief Secretary, MLC and independent Candidate today addressed several gatherings at Kotli Shah Daula, Kirpind and other adjoining villages of R.S Pura Assembly Constituency. A large crowd accorded warm welcome in Kirpind and Kotli Shah Daula. Panchs, Sarpanchs, locals garlanded and welcomed him to show their faith and support. Amid slogan-eering and drum beats, Kundal was taken to public meeting venues where he addressed huge gathering and also thanked the gathering to repose their faith in him. While addressing the gathering, MLC Kundal castigated various political parties that keep the welfare of common man at stake for their own petty gains. He further said that people are wise enough to choose their candidate for their overall development. "I have done many developmental works and like to make the constituency progressive in upcoming days", he reassured. He said that in 1983 ICDS Social welfare scheme was launched and he gifted that scheme to masses, besides cremation grounds in R S Pura as a human gesture during his tenure of MLC.
He also assured implementing Punjabi language in schools and facility of Punjabi teachers will be provided once he voted to assembly. He lambasted on successive MLAs for miserable condition of village streets and other villages of the constituency. Urging people to rise above caste politics, he said, "Before doing any work of people, I have never asked about the caste as casteism create divide and I am here to serve you not to play caste politics. He sought vote on the work he has done so far and promise more progress if they elect him and also cautioned people not to fall prey of politicians who are hell bent to exploit common masses. Among others who spoke on the occasion, Ajeet Singh, Vinod Sharma, Rajinder Singh, Om Parkash, Ravinder Singh (all sarpa-nches), Master Puran Singh, Lalit Sharma, Bahadur Lal Sarpanch, Swaran Singh, Jyoti Devi, Trishant Sharma, Madal Lal ADGP (Retd.) and others.
