PDP candidate Bharat intensifies his election campaign | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 28: Accelerating his poll campaign, senior People's Democratic Party (PDP) leader and candidate from Jammu East assembly Constituency, Bharat Choudhary today visited various areas of the Old Jammu City and while interacting with the people assured them that with PDP coming to power this situation is bound to change for betterment of people of state. During his election campaign, he visited localities like Chand Nagar, Rani Park, Khilloney Wali Gali, Mohalla Afgana, Koocha Nahar Singh etc and interacted with local people. He was also visited Gurudwara at Raghunath Chowk where he was felicitated by the religious head of holy place. While interacting with locals PDP candidate said, "Like all other parts these areas also present the same picture of utter neglect and lack of any real development and residents of Jammu City who live on the banks of perennial river Tawi still are suffering acute shortage of drinking water. "Only reason behind this could be reasoned -the total apathy towards genuine issues of the people by both BJP as well as ruling Congress - NC combine, he said, adding, "instead of any real development, politics of name plates has been carried out only." "Developmental projects either have simply not been started after fanfare inauguration by some VIP or have been allotted to some favorite contractors to siphon majority of funds meant for poor public, he said. He also reiterated his motto of working Sabke liye - Sabke Sath - Hamesha and assured people to make it practical. |
