Students hold candle light march in solidarity with Peshawar victims

KISHTWAR, Dec 18: Students and members from civil society of Kishtwar today strongly condemn the brutal killing of 138 students by militant outfit Tehrek-e-Taliban in Peshawar Pakistan on Tuesday and hold a Candle Light Vigal March today. Hundreds of students from various schools and Government Polytechnic Kishtwar today assembled at Hidyal Chowk Kishtwar displaying the banner "Stop killing students--- we are innocent" and "Keep students out of terror war".
After passing through various areas of the District covering 2.5 KM distance on foot, the march was cumulated at District Development Commissioners office Kishtwar. All the participants condole the killing of students and express solidarity with the family of victims who lost their dear one in Peshawar attack.
While talking to "Early Times" a student leader Prakash Singh Dadwal said that Peshawar terror attack on school children is a black day for entire humanity, added that through this peaceful candlelight March; the student community raise a protest against Pakastani Taliban and condemn the shameful barbaric act. He said that time has come for Pakistan to understand the menace of terrorism and stop breeding and support the terrorists. "Pakistan must stop supporting and abetting the terror on its soil--- they (Pakistan) must understand that terrorist could never be the friend of anyone" said Prakesh Singh. He said that student community is firmly behind student community of Pakistan and the world who from time to time suffer due to terror activities. Several students while condemn the Peshawar terror said that no religion allowed such barbaric act, added that the act of Tehrek-e-Taliban is against the spirit of Islam and humanity and demanded stern action against the culprits involved behind the Peshawar terror attack. They appeal the world body and India to join hands together to eradicate the menace of terrorism that has claimed lives of lakhs of people all over the world.
