Cyber café owner held for allegedly raping girl

JAMMU, Dec 18: Police today registered a rape case against an owner of a cyber café for allegedly raping a girl in the café falling under the jurisdiction of Pacca Danga police station.
Police sources said the victim, a resident of Janipur, today lodged a complaint with Pacca Danga police station that two days earlier she went to a cyber café at Kacchi Chawni where its owner allegedly raped her and also threatened her of dire consequences if she reported the matter to anyone. She identified the alleged accused as Sidhant Suri of Mast Garh, the sources added.
Acting on the complaint, police swung into action and got conducted the medical examination of the girl. Later, police arrested the youth and registered a case under sections 376, 294 and 511 of RPC against him and started further investigation.
