POONCH, Dec 20: Senior army officer, Commander 93 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier NS Brar today visited the ongoing special coaching camp, organised by J&K State Sports Council, for young players at Sports Stadium, Poonch, here.
Brigadier Brar interacted with the campers and encouraged them towards the world of sports amidst good wishes for a bright future. He also shared his experiences with young boys and girls of the border district.
Earlier, camp incharge and weightlifting coach of the State Sports Council, Ashok Singh presented a brief note of the camp and introduced the team of qualified coaches to the gathering.
Important to mention here that a team of senior and qualified coaches of the Sports Council are presently at Poonch to train over 100 young boys and girls in different sports disciplines of hockey, volleyball, football, kabaddi and boxing. |
