People stage protest demonstration against CAPD, PDD | | | Early Times Report
Bhaderwah, Dec 20: Residents of Bhaderwah which included leaders of different political parties and civil society members today held a strong protest demonstration at Takia Chowk alleged discrimination in ration distribution, unscheduled power cuts and black marketing of K.oil in Bhaderwah town . They alleged that the government runs ration shop has remained defunct and the officials stationed there were indulging in black-marketing and also alleged that unscheduled power cuts had make their life a hell and some K.oil outlet holders sell all oil to matadoor drivers and owners without any fear and poor people are at the mercy of God in this winter season. Early in the morning dozens of leaders and supporters of various political parties and civil society members which included Masth Nath Yogi , Abdul Hafeez Wani , Mohd Iqbal Malik , Abdul Rafiq Bhagwan , Khan Mohd Khan , Master Bhagat Singh , Aslam Khan and others assembled at Takyia Chowk of Bhaderwah in the heart of town and started shouting anti government , anti -CAPD , PDD and administration for failure on all fronts to solve the problems of people in the winter season.They further alleged that now when winter season is in but still people are without ration, K.oil , LPG and power also remained missing for hours. "We are smoothly sending the ration supply to all localities and we will ensure that all people get the supply on time", said Assistant Directorof Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department of Doda. |
