JKATA hails regularization of ReZs | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 19: Terming the regularization of Rehbar-e-Zirats (ReZs) a bold and historic decision taken by the State Government which will help in securing the future of the regularized agri-technocrats, the Jammu & Kashmir Agricultural Technocrats Association (JKATA) said today that it has met its ultimate goal pursued for the last 15 years. JKATA president Dr Surinder Singh Radotra appreciated and applauded the efforts and support of Commissioner Secretary, Agriculture Asgar Samoon and Director Agriculture Jammu Dr S S Jamwal adding that ReZs are highly grateful for their sincere support. While addressing media persons, Radotra said that the organization is diligently working for ReZs' causes such as service count with effect from April 1, 2007 from the date of joining department as ReZs. He said that JKATA would like to submit its demand of revision of pay scale of VAEA as equivalent to JAEO i.e. (9300-34800 with grade pay 4280) instead of VAEA (9300-34800 with Grade Pay 4200) as per service rules, as the nature of work and educational qualification is similar in every aspect. Dr Radota also appealed the Commissioner Secretary for immediate publication of regularization list of ReZs of 2nd phase w.e.f April 1, 2015 and also DPC in the department, which will help in removing the stagnation in promotions in the Agriculture Production Department of the state. It is pertinent to mention here that the regularization of the first batch of 441 ReZs has been completed as per cabinet decision. |
