Jammu, Feb 19: A 55 year-old woman today succumbed to her burn injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) today.
"The deceased has been identified as Maya Devi (55) wife of Prem Chand of Rehmbal, police sources said.
Sources said that she suffered critical burn injuries on yesterday (February 18) and was shifted to Udhampur Hospital fromwhere doctors after preliminary treatment referred her to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H), today during treatment she failed to respond the treatment.
After legal formalities, the body of deceased was handed over to family members for last rites however a case in this connection already stands registered with concerned police station and further investigations are on. |
