Jammu, Feb 19: A joint delegation of VLWs/MPWs Association of Rajouri called on Director Rural Development (RDD) and highlighted their grievances and long pending demands here today.
Led by Abdul Majid (VLWs Distt President), Dilshad Ahmed Malik (MPWs Distt. President), Rajesh Kumar Dutta (Vice-President) the delegation met G N Balwan Director, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj in its chamber and highlighted the various issues including shortage of field staff, stagnation in promotions, creation of posts in newly created blocks, TA/DA among trainers, etc.
Director Rural Development gave patient hearing to delegation and assured them for early redressal of their grievances.
He informed that direction has been passed for DPC and assured vacant posts to be filled very soon. He directed them to implement the various central/state sponsored schemes at grass root level so that general public will be benefitted utmost. |
