Jammu, Feb 19: The Directorate of Home Guards, Civil Defence and SDRF today ordered promotion of 94 officials of different categories with immediate effect, an official spokesman said.
He said the officials promoted include three assistant sub inspectors, three head constables, 53 selection grade constables and 35 constables who have been elevated to the next respective ranks. The promotions were made on recommendations of departmental promotion committee (DPC) headed by IGP, Home Guards, Civil Defence and SDRF, J P Singh. "The DPC was constituted on the directions of DGP, K Rajendra Kumar, who is also commandant general of the organisation," he said. |
