UDHAMPUR, Feb 21 : Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Jammu-Kashmir Circle launched cleanliness campaign at Devika, Uhampur in the presence of its brand ambassadors from all over the state.
Yasha Mudgal, Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Verma, Brand Ambassador, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Jammu Kashmir Circle stated that the 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' was launched by Prime Minister of India, Narindera Modi on the eve of birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi- October 2, 2014 to fulfill Gandhi's vision of clean India which focused on personal, family and community Hygiene.
He mentioned that this campaign aims at generating awareness and bringing about a behavioral change in society for healthy sanitation practices and this abhiyan will be of a great success only when individual will participate in it, takes this message to public and finally the whole community will enthusiastically participate in the cleanliness drive. |
