Three absconders held

Ramban, Feb 24 : Ramban Police today arrested three absconders from Jammu, Sopore and Udhampur districts who were wanted in different criminal cases and have been evading their arrests in respective cases for the past long time.
Police spokesperson said, "Police Station Batote arrested two absconders who had been evading arrest for the past long time and have been identified as Roop Chand @ Abdul Rehman s/o Ramdas of Sanasar wanted in case FIR No 114/2013 u/s 363/344/109 RPC and Muzaffar Mehraj s/o Abdul Jabbar of Nathipora Sopore of Kashmir wanted in case FIR No. 02/2008 u/s 279/337, 338, 304-Act at Police Station Batote.
Meanwhile another absconder Karnail Singh son of Kartar Singh of Chopra Shop Udhampur, wanted to Batote Police Station in case FIR No. 15/2014 u/s 279/337/RPC, 140/196, 3/181 MV Act also was apprehended by the police.
"A team of Police Station Batote headed by SHO Inspector Mohd Iqbal made the arrests under the direct supervision of Randeep Kumar, Sr. Superintendent of Police (SSP), Ramban, police said.
