ET Report
Jammu, Feb 24: The Director of School Education (DSE) Jammu has allegedly retained several blue eyed teachers at the directorate and has detached a few of them as a "cosmetic measure" to claim that DSEJ followed the instructions issued by the Governor, N N Vohra to detach the employees working in the head offices for a long time.
Sources told Early Times despite Governor issuing strict instructions many blue eyed and influential teachers are enjoying the privileged postings at their choicest places even at present.
Sources said that soon after the Governor N N Vohra ordered to implement detachment orders the Director School Education Jammu issued an order to adjust surplus masters in far flung areas of Reasi, Rajouri, Basohli, Bani ignoring the fact that majority of them were females at the same time the DSE officials retained many masters namely Gurucharan Singh (acting PA), Ravinder Singh, Rakesh Gandotra, and one Subash Shastri (self styled media person) at the directorate office despite they being there for over an decade. Sources said that many influential and blue eyed also were allotted their choicest placements within the city.
Citing one of the example of favoritism, sources said one Sardar Guru Charan Singh, Master was attached as PA to Director. "This has left many aggrieved teachers infuriated and this may force aggrieved to stage protest in support of their demands and many have decided to seek legal recourse," they added.
