Reasi, Feb 24: The NSS annual camp of NSS Unit of Government Degree College , Reasi started in College Campus.
The programme started with the lighting of the traditional lamp followed by Saraswati Bandana. Principal GDC Reasi Prof. Koushal Samotra inaugurated the Camp. In her speech, she motivated the students by highlighting the importance of NSS for shaping the future of the students in particular and the country in general . She wished the NSS Volunteers all the best for the upcoming activities during the Camp.
Dr. Rajesh Sharma NSS Programme Officer gave the detailed note of the activities to be conducted during the Camp. He made aware the audience about the importance of NSS and its motto “ NOT ME BUT YOU”. He awared them that during the camp a polythene free Campus Campaign, a rally on BETI BACHAO –BETI PADAO in the NSS adopted village Agar Balliyana in Reasi , a symposium on TRUTH AND NON–VIOLANCE , Role of Science and Technology in the development of youth , Awareness Programme on Swine flu and Sports Injuries shall be taken place .
The NSS Volunteers Suridhi, Tarsem, Shivnandan also gave their views on NATIONAL INTEGRATION, WOMEN EMPOWERMENT , SWACH BHARAT ABIYAN. The NSS Voluntees also presented NSS Songs and other patriotic songs during the Programme. |
