Jammu, Mar 18: Jammu and Kashmir Gujjar Bakerwal Desh (JKGBD) Youth Body alleged that people of affected by devastating floods are totally neglect by J&K State Government. According to press release, Chodhary Nazakat Khatana stated that he visited the far flung areas of Gujjar and Bakerwal communities for last two weeks and the areas visited include Samba, Kathua, Jammu, Udhampur, Reasi, Rajouri, Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban but people are totally neglected by the Government. He said that these communities have hope for their rights from the newly formed Government. He appealed to the Chief Minister to provide the said areas available the food, shelter, relief and the compensation for their stock and loss. While interacting with the locals of these areas, he said that they have not been provided any type of help, relief and compensation. The locals are discoursing the govt for neglecting them as they have not been provided any type of shelter, food or fodder. They are now on the pity and mercy of God. Now recently the heavy rainfall has again affected them making their lives and stock under sky. |
