UDHAMPUR, Mar 18: As a part of the Indian Army's Operation Sadbhavna, a veterinary aid cum rural development camp was organized at village Khagote of Ramnagar Sub Division in Udhampur district here today. The camp was organized under the aegis of HQ 71 Sub Area during which treatment, animal husbandry advice and specialist veterinary cover was provided. The camp was organized with an active support of district administration Udhampur and specialist team from the faculty of Veterinary College, Jammu. Specialist diagnostic, Veterinary medicines and treatment was provided free of cost to the sick animals of the villagers. The local population of the area expressed great satisfaction and pleasure in medical facilities provided in the veterinary camp by the Army. They complimented 71 Sub Area for preparations and hope for the grand success of such camp. They expressed that such programmes conducted under Operation Sadbhavna would go a long way towards enhancing the spirit of national integration and general well being in the region. Among others, Coordinator of the camp, Dr. Vinay, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Udhampur, Dr. K.L Gupta, Naib Tehsildar Ramnagar besides senior officers of civil and army were also present on the occasion. |
