Jammu, Mar 18: A one day awareness camp/workshop of Handicrafts artisans/members of Handicrafts Cooperative Societies of District Jammu was held today at Rajiv Nagar/Quasim Nagar, Jammu. The Camp was organized by Sarwar Hussain Shah Dy. Registrar Industrial Cooperative Societies, Jammu with the association of the Om Sai stuff toys Handicrafts Industrial Cooperative Limited Jawhar Ngr, New Plot Jammu. The main objective for organizing such camps was to aware the masses in general and women folk in special of the scheme of the Deptt. Round about 150 participants: both male and female from the surrounding area were present. Sarwar Hussain, Dy. Registrar Induscos, Jammu inaugurated the camp. While speaking on the occasion, he aware the participants about the schemes of the Department such as registration of Artisans credit cards, Micro credit plan schemes and registration of Handicrafts Industrial Cooperative etc and emphasized upon the participants to avail the benefits of all such schemes lunched by the Department of Handicrafts. Other those spoke on the occasion is Parveen Kumar Assistant Registrar Induscos, Jammu, Kishori lal Assistant Registrar Audit, Jammu Joginder Paul Sharma, H.T.O, Naresh Jamwal, representatives from Cooperative Union and aware the participants about the schemes of the Department. |
