Jammu, Mar 18: Movement for Peace, Equality & Justice (MPEJ) today appealed Education Minister, Nayeem Akthar to look into genuineness of SRO 123 and also make process of school's recognitions transparent, time-bound or else stop the functioning of all these private schools if they are continuously forced to adopt corruption. According to press release, the members of Movement for Peace, Equality & Justice, in a meeting on Tuesday, have warmly welcomed the bold commitments of some of the Cabinet Ministers to revamp their respective departments in tune with the aspirations of the common man. Referring to the plight of government schools vis-à-vis private schools, the members of the movement said that private schools are being harassed so far it pertains to the grant of recognitions year after year going through a rigorous exercise of filling the formalities repeatedly. As regards SRO 123, the private schools are being targeting to fulfill the cumbersome requirements where as 99% government schools cannot fulfill said formalities in next 100 years or so. |
