Early Times Report

Jammu, Apr 17: Kashmiri Pandits during their day long protest today at Jammu from YAIKS HQ, Muthi to Press Club Jammu under the ageis of YAIKS led by its President R.K Bhat sought action against Geelani, Masrat Alam and Er. Rasheed. The protesters demand immediate and strict action against separatists who were part of a rally during which anti-India slogans were raised and Pakistani flags were hoisted yesterday. R. K Bhat said that the Government has failed to take any action against the vested interests, anti-national & anti-social elements who are working on the behest of Pakistani ISI and are trying again and again to sabotage the return move of Pandits to valley.
He added that whenever some concrete measures have been assured for Kashmiri Pandits, time and again such negative elements have come out with strong opposition in the name of composite culture. He again said that when thousands of KP's have been brutally murdered, their property has been looted and encroached, lacks of their houses have been burnt during Ram Mandir and Babri Masjid episodebut none was there at that time for composite culture.
He added that here are various separate colonies in India on the basis of religion and minority communities, even in Jammu some colonies have been developed by the majority community of Kashmir and none have ever talked about that. He further added that it's very unfortunate that J&K Govt, as well as GOI acts as mute spectators on present scenario of JK. He again added, "Chief Minister Mufti Sayeed who has refused to arrest the separatist and antinational elements is the proof of it that he is pro separatist and pro Pakistani Chief Minister of the State"Others who addressed the protesters including YAIKS Vice President Sunil Koul, General Secretary Manoj Handoo, Secretaries, Sanjay Ganjoo, Ajay Raina, Ajay Kaul, Dileep Kaul, Ashwani Raina and Advisor D N Bhat.
