| Brahman Sabha celebrates Parshuram Jayanti | | |

JAMMU, Apr 20: Parshuram, the sixth incarnation of lord Vishnu is the epitome of valor and devotion towards parents. Brahman Sabha Jammu and Kashmir today, celebrated Parshuram Jayanti with all enthusiasm and devotion towards lord Parshuram.
On the eve, the president of Brahman Sabha Jammu and Kashmir, Shakti Dutt Sharma greets a large gathering of people and said that instructions and teachings given by Parshuram are of great importance for the entire humanity to have benefit from and for all the generations to come. He added that people must have to take due pride in having the great gurus, saints and philosophers who have taught great values of virtue and righteousness with a universal appeal for the upliftment of whole mankind and whose teaching still prevails as a moral lesson in the society from time to time.
Parshuram Jayanti was celebrated at various places including Purkhoo and Akhnoor temple of lord Parshuram. On the occasion, Ram Paul Seth, president of Aarakshan Virodhi manch also appeals all the youth to come forward and raise their voice against the injustice prevailing in every sphere of opportunity. He appealed that it is a time to come forward and demand for equality and justice. Mahant Rohit Shastri also greets all the devotees and appeals to remain united and to work for the preservation of their culture and their moral values. A huge langar and bandara facility was also organized by the members of the Brahman Sabha. Various people were unhappy about the behaviour of government that no greeting message is received from any govt. department to bless the feeling of the people on this occasion and show their peaceful resentment. A large number of prominent personalities were also present on this occasion including Yash Seth, Rajinder Seth, Sumit pandit, Bushan sharma and many other were present and arranged the function so orderly and successfully. |
