Jammu, Apr 27 : A function was organized in JIAR on Topic "Sexual Assault Awareness". According to press release, the students of this Institution formed a Form namely "I AM STRENGTH" in collaboration with Swasthvritt Department under the guidance of Dr. Jagmeet Kour and Dr. Milan S. Chouhan. Approx. 300 students attended the seminar. The students also demonstrated various techniques, to be adopted by the society in general and students community specially to get rid of the social menace.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Roop Lal Sharma Chairman of College congratulated the students for taking this bold step and advised them to aware the society by organizing such seminars in other Colleges. The Principal Dr. Mohanta and all faculty members attended the function. The following students of 3rd Prof. took active participation in the seminar namely Snowber Aliya, Chetna Kotwal, Tejaswani Khanna, Sucheta Sharma, Upasana Narania, Manju Atri and Chanderdeep Kour. |
