Power shut down

JAMMU, July 29: To carry out the work of PCC pole erection and installation of HT/LT cable by M/s IRCON International Ltd under RAPDRP project, the power supply to few areas of the old city will remain affected on July 31.
The areas where the power supply shall remain affected from 7 am to 11 am include Old Rehari, BC Road, Rehari Exchange and VIP Quarters.
Moreover, power supply to Governor House, Radio Station, CPO, PHE shall remain affected from 7 am to 9 am.
On August 1, power supply to Old Rehari, BC Road, Rehari Exchange and VIP Quarter shall remain affected from 7 am to 10 am and power supply to Governor House, Radio Station, CPO, PHE shall remain affected from 7 am to 8 am.
Meanwhile, to carry out Tan Delta Test on various Transformers of 220/132/33KV Grid Station Barn there shall be rotational curtailment on all the 132 KV and 33KV feeders emanating from 220/132/33 KV at Grid Station Barn from 9 am to 3 pm onJuly 30, 2015.
The areas affected during the shutdown shall be of districts Jammu, Reasi, Rajouri and Poonch. Similarly, in order to carry out the constructional works under R-APDRP scheme, there shall be a power shutdown in different areas of Jammu city.
Power supply to Mahesh Pura and Bakshi Nagar Shopping Center shall remain affected from 12 pm to 2 pm tomorrow.
Power supply to Dream City, Dharmal School, Shiv Mandir, Opp Petrol Pump Patoli, Vigyan Vihar, Dina Nagar, Saraswati Vihar and Mahajan Mohalla shall remain affected from 7 am to 11 am from July 30 to of August 16. In Udheywala, Sangrampur, Patnayal, Tokri Kohni, Opp GD Goenka School, Parwah power supply shall remain affected from 10 am to 2 pm from July 30 to August 12. However, power supply to Shanti Nagar and Vasant Nagar shall be affected from 9 am to 1 pm with effect from July 30 to August 12 and in Durga Nagar, Dogra Nagar and Near Police Station Chinore power supply shall also remain affected from9 am to 1 pm from July 30 to August 12. The shutdown shall be subject to fair weather condition.
