Jammu, Aug 19: A forest officer, who is alleged to be having close relations with the BJP "top brass", is likely to be posted as CCF (Chief Conservator of Forests), Jammu.
The forest officer is at present serving in Wildlife. A BJP minister was said to have recommend his name for this coveted post of CCF, Jammu, according to official sources.
"This officer is already making rounds of the secretariat for his appointment as CCF, Jammu," sources claimed.
Sources said the officer had a wide network of contacts in the civil secretariat and the forest department. He was alleged to be using his good offices for a posting in Jammu as CCF, the sources added.
An official spoke to this correspondent on the condition of anonymity and said, "We had given votes to BJP to bring transparency in the system but its ministers had too allegedly started adjusting their blue eyed against vital posts." |
