JDA demolishes illegal structures

Jammu, Aug 27: Continuing anti encroachment drive, Jammu Development Authority demolished the concrete plinth including compound wall raised over JDA land illegally in Kalka Colony opp. PHE Pumping Station Boria Complex, Bahu Fort. Besides, this the enforcement team removed the hoardings from the road side those creating hurdles in movement of free flow of traffic in the jurisdiction of JDA in compliance to the directions of the Supreme Court. The enforcement team acted on the directions of Mubarik Singh, Vice Chairman, JDA under the direct supervision of Director Land Management JDA, Gurvinder Jeet Singh, comprising of Khilafwarzi Officer, Pankaj Singh Sambyal, Naresh Kumar, Khilafwarzi Inspector and the field staff of (Zone-B) JDA in a day long anti-encroachment drive removed the encroachments and retrieved the JDA land from the encroachers/ trespassers. JDA warned the trespassers & habitual encroachers/ violators to desist themselves from any type of trespassing over JDA land, in which case a strict action will be initiated against the defaulter under law.
