JAMMU, Sept 30: Annual inter-district state level table tennis competition in girls all age groups, organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), started today at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here today. The opening day of the event witnessed preliminary round of the competition in under-14 age category. In one of these matches, decided today, Kargil district outplayed district Budgam 3-0. The technical penal of officials included Ravish Vaid, Gourav Sharma, Narinder Singh, Anju Gupta, Rakesh Kakkar, Mulk Raj Sharma, Vishal Bharti, Amit Kalsi, Mahadev Singh and Rattan Lal. The Detailed Results: Kargil beat Budgam 3-0: Nasreen Fatima beat Shah Anida 11-08, 11-09; Kaneez Fatima beat Sabah Rashit 11-06, 11-06; Shabana Batool beat Tabinda Fayaz 14-12, 11-06. |
