JAMMU, Sept 30: The members of the Movement for Peace, Equality & Justice today have urged the BSNL authorities for release of the pending arrears of watch & ward employees & monthly rent of BTS sites from January 2015 . The BSNL authorities have increased the monthly watch and ward allowances in respect of the BSNL towers installed by them at different sites/ locations in Jammu city w.e.f January,2015, and in this regard the necessary agreements have already been executed with the BSNL authorities. But despite lapse of more than 9 months now, the arrears on account of the monthly enhancement of allowances are yet to be paid by the BSNL authorities. The delay on the part of BSNL authorities in the release of the monthly revised charges has caused resentment among the parties and has expressed their dis-satisfaction over the functioning of the BSNL authorities. More so, the BSNL authorities have not so far released the revised monthly rent on account of the towers erected by them at different location since Jauary,2015,which is a matter of great concern for the owners of the sites of the towers. They appealed to Chief General Manager, BSNL and Principal General\ Manager BSNL Mobiles J&K state to personally intervene and redress the genuine grievances of these watch & ward employees' of Mobile towers.
