JAMMU, Sept 30: Expressing deep concern over the in-ordinate delay in releasing of 6 percent DA due from July last, President National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) Subash Shastri today urged the Chief Minister to release the same installment of dearness allowance in favor of employees and pensioners. According to press release, addressing a meeting of NMC activists here, Shastri in support of this genuine demand said that the installment of the DA has already been released by the Central as well as several state Governments in favour of their employees and pensioners since long. In view of increasing prices and inflation, as a good- will gesture the early release of DA installment has become more he added.
Since there is already budget provision by the Finance Minister for the year 2015-16, he said and added that delay in such matter is also not in the interest of state exchequer.
