Bhaderwah, Sept 30: In recently declared result of National Eligibility Test (NET), the girl Farhat Shamim Khan D/o Riaz Ahmed Khan R/ o Gatha village of Bhaderwah district Doda has qualified NET, JRF in Political science. According to press release, she had received 1st position in 12th Arts stream for which was awarded with Gold medal by University of Jammu in Political science. "If you have will, you can conquer the world", said Farhat Shamim Khan to this media person, adding that "My success will encourage\ others candidates of Doda district to appear in examinations to be\ conducted at national and international levels". Education Deptt to hold CSWN camps from October 3 Rajouri, September 30: Education Department is going to hold six camps on 'Children With Special Needs' from October 3rd, in which all the Zonal Education Officers and Resource Persons have been directed to remain present during camp in their respective area. According to press release, As per a letter issued by the office of Chief Education Officer Rajouri vide number CEOR/SSA/13581-602, the camps under Sarav Shiksha Abhiyaan and named as 'Children with Special Needs' will start from 3rd and will culminate on October 6. Besides issuing the schedule of these camps, education department has also directed all its Zonal Resource Persons and Cluster Resource Persons and other officials of department to aware people and heads of institutions about this camp in order to ensure healthy participation and also to ensure that majority of the disabled students are benefitted. It is pertinent here to mention that under SSA, a scheme namely 'CSWN' is being run in which children from 6 to 14 years of age and having some disability in the body are provided needed equipments. |
