JAMMU, Sept 30: Government College for Women (GCW) Parade today lifted the women's kabaddi trophy in the inter-college competitions of University of Jammu, organised by the Department of Sports and Physical Education on the campus ground, here.
In the final, GCW Parade women defeated GCW Gandhi Nagar. Poonam and Kajal played exceptional innings from Parade College thereby clinched the title by a margin of 15 points with final scoring being 27-12. Final was officiated by the technical penal comprising Keshav Singh, Harpal Singh, Gagan Kumar, Payush Singh and Manmohan Singh.
The title trophy was presented to the winning team by Director Sports and Physical Education, JU, Prof Dhian Singh Bhau, who was chief guest.
Also present were Sumnesh Sharma, Suman Lata, Romesh Sharma, Dr Brij Baloria, Raj Kumar Bakshi, Vikas Karlopia, Gagan Kumar and Jai Bharat. |
