UDHAMPUR Sept 30: Assistant Regional Transport officer (ARTO), Udhampur, Rajesh Gupta conducted surprise checking of the commercial vehicles in Udhampur to Ghordi, Chowki to Ramnagar and Ramnagar to Udhampur against violators of Motor Vehicle Act. On the spot 30 vehicles were challaned plying on different routes in Udhampur district for various traffic violations. On the occasion, people were educated about the traffic norms and were asked to help in effective implementation of these rules. Violators were warned to adhere to the traffic rules and regulations failing which stern action under law would be taken.
