Refugees, traders, flood affected families dejected | Economic package seems to be back-fired for BJP | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 16: The much awaited economic package, worth Rs 80,000 crores, announced by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi for Jammu and Kashmir seems to be back fired for the BJP because every section of the society has rejected this package. The BJP, which was earlier hoping to en-cash the package, is now finding it difficult to face reply furies queries of different sections of the society. Barring one single group, all other groups of Displaced Persons (DP) of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) have rejected the amount sanctioned for their rehabilitation and compensation in the package. These groups are targeting only on BJP for not fulfilling the promise. These groups have announced to launch a war against BJP leadership and Ministers for their utter failure to protect interests of the displaced persons who have voted unblock in favour of the party in Parliamentary and Assembly polls. Not only PoK Displaced Persons, displaced Kashmir Pandits have also rejected the package in one voice. The refugees from West Pakistan, who had voted over-whelmingly in support of BJP in Parliament elections, is most neglected section of the society in the Prime Minister package. Not even a single word has been mentioned regarding these refugees who are staunch supporters of BJP. Flood affected families and traders of Jammu province are also not satisfied with the package and they are also thinking to launch agitation against the package. |
