Jammu, Nov 16 : State Crime Branch, Jammu and Kashmir today organized two days workshop on cyber techniques in investigation of crimes at Police Auditorium Gulshan Ground, Jammu. According to press release, the two days workshop was inaugurated by Muneer Ahmed Khan, IPS Inspector General of Police State Crime Branch, J&K. About a hundred nominated officers from the Crime Branch, Jammu, and Jammu Zone attended the workshop which has been organized by State Crime Branch, J&K as keeping in view the fast growing menace of cyber-crimes in the state. Ishaan Sinha, Director Blaktronics and Advisor Cyber Crime Investigation at the National Investigation Agency and consultant to nationwide police forces and intelligence agencies has been specially invited for the workshop as a technical resource person to educate the officers with the latest cyber techniques which shall ultimately enable them to cope up with the emerging menace of cyber-crimes. At the inaugural session of the workshop formal welcome address was presented by Mubassir Latifi, Sr. Superintendent of Police Crime Branch, Jammu whereas, the key note address was presented by Muneer Ahmed Khan. While delivering the key note address, IGP State Crime Branch, stressed upon the officers that all out efforts be made by them to learn the latest techniques in dealing with the cyber-crimes as these crimes are the latest and perhaps the more complicated ones. |
