 Jammu, Nov 16 : Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region today started four day long First Aid Training Course under the umbrella of St. John Ambulance Association Regional Centre at Red Cross Bhawan, Kachi Chawni. According to press release, Number of commercial drivers of heavy/medium motor vehicle are taking part in the said training course with the motive that it is mandatory for all the driving licence holder to go through detailed First Aid Training in order to save the precious lives during untoward accidents. The first aid training was imparted by a team of well versed Doctors viz. Dr. Rajinder Thappa CMO, Government SMGS Hospital, Jammu, Dr. Kavita Nijhon and Dr. Rohini Bhan, Medical Officer, Red Cross Dispensary and Dr. M.L. Sharma , Director Executive, J&KMMU on N.G.O. Hony. Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Region Jammu R.C. Puri gave detailed presentation about the First Aid Training and impressed upon the trainers to take part in the said training with zest and zeal. |
