Distt Jammu, Srinagar win inaugural matches in State level Inter District U-17 Girls tournament

JAMMU, Nov 16 : Inter District State level competition in the sports discipline of Cricket Girls U-17 yrs. got underway here at Govt. HS Jammu Cantt.
In all 48 girls drawn from various district of state are taking part in the competition.
The tournament was organised by the department of YSS as a part of annual calendar of sports activities under the patronage of Jahangir Mir, Director General Youth Services & Sports J&K State and under the overall supervision of Madan Lal, Jt. Director and Sukhdev Raj DYSSO Jammu. It is pertinent to mention here that the department of Youth Services & Sports is hosting 61st NSG in the discipline of Cricket U-17 Girls w.e.f 28-11-2015 to 02-12-2015.Today's Result: Cricket U-17 yrs Boys: Srinagar district beats Kishtwar distt by 6 wickets. Batting 1st Kishtwar scored 53 runs wherein Shikha Sharma scored 17 runs, and Sania kosar contributed 15 runs for Kishtwar Distt. Abrar 3 wickets and Muskan 2 wickets. While replying, Srinagar Distt. chased the target in which Abrar scored 20 runs and Muskaan 9 runs. For Kishtwar, Tania took 2 wickets and Asma got 1. In another match, Jammu Distt. defeated Srinagar Distt. by 9 wickets.
